This year I sold an old friend. For many years my trusty K1000 had served me well, from the Yorkshire Dales to the Australian outback, but the dust on its case was thick and it deserved a better home. Now it\'s gone, usurped by a digital upstart, and my photography\'s been transformed. In less than three years since I acquired my K100D I\'ve progressed from little more than a happy snapper to an LRPS. Now every day\'s an adventure in which the next memorable image might be captured. Or not – I still have a lot to learn! Thanks, Pentax.

The year, 1967. My hobby in photography began at 15 when I fell in love with Asahi Pentax. It was only a dream then.In 1977, I owned my first camera, the Pentax-MX. Handling was easy and gave no problems.Owned my second Pentax-MX in 1986. Both served very well in my university years taking photographs in prints and slides for my course-work. Through the years, the \'family\' grew with the K-1000, MZ-6, *istDS2, K-20D, lenses, accessories and flash. All are in tip-top working condition. Photographs were superb and have won in competitions. My love for Pentax will remain faithful and undivided.

Best camera ever! I used to live in Cuba and owned a Pentax MX - completely manual, built like a bunker, this camera did not only took the best pictures but stood all the severe weather conditions like extreme heat and humidity, sea salt, drops on the floor, hits, bangs. I took it with me everywhere I went, the beach, hiking, bike riding, etc. and never let me down. Way to go PENTAX!!!
